Revista Classic Rock elegeu as 100 melhores músicas de Rock dos últimos tempos.

A revista inglesa Classic Rock  publicou uma lista com as 100 melhores músicas rock de todos os tempos. A seleção foi realizada por jornalistas, músicos e críticos que e reuniram grandes clássicos que marcaram gerações, como A Million Miles Away (1973), interpretado por Rory Gallagher; Looking For A Kiss (1973), de New York Dolls; e Mandolin Wind (1971), de Rod Stewart.

Conhecido por sua voz áspera e rouca, Rod Stewart começou a ficar conhecido no final dos anos 60 quando participou da Jeff Beck Group e depois juntou-se ao The Faces, iniciando paralelamente sua carreira solo que já dura cinco décadas.

Além da canção que pegou o 56º lugar, o cantor, de 73 anos, tem outros hits: “Maggie May”, “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?” , “I Don’t Want to Talk About It” , “Sailing” , “Young Turks” , “Baby Jane” , “Have I Told You Lately” , “Tonight is The Night” e “The First Cut Is The Deepest”.

Já o dono da canção em primeiro lugar foi um multi-instrumentista e compositor irlandês, considerado o 57º melhor guitarrista de todos os tempos pela revista norte-americana Rolling Stone.
